Aim of the module: | The aim of this module is to inform, inspire and guide young people in taking action and actively contributing to protecting and saving the environment from further degradation. |
Learning objectives: | The learning objectives of this module are:
● To provide the theory and facts about the current environmental challenges ● Make a connection between people’s daily habits and their impact on the environment ● Provide the theory, inspirational examples and practical advice on how to be an environmental activist ● Provide environmental education activities along with guidance on how to implement them |
Learning outcomes: | By the end of this module, the learner should be able to:
● Understand the causes and consequences of climate change ● Transfer the theoretical knowledge to others in order to raise awareness ● Associate actions and options with the impact they have on the environment ● Actively promote and advocate for a more sustainable lifestyle |
